Summer

The time has come! It has been a year since I have been in America!

I will be heading to America for 5 weeks tomorrow! I can't believe the time has finally arrived. I am so thankful for a school that has a summer vacation and gives its teachers the opportunity to go home.

These past few months have been difficult as I have had to say goodbye to some amazing people in my life here. This is the first time that my school has had foreigners leaving. It is really sad! Out of the 6 original foreigner families that helped to start the school, 3 are already in the States and 2 are leaving this summer. Then one of my best friend and her husband are also leaving. I feel like this is the hardest transition of all. So many important people in my life are leaving for other places that God has called them. I am so excited for them, but I am going to miss them like crazy!!!

I am excited to come home this summer, but I am nervous to come back. Life is going to be so different next year. I am excited to see what God has in store, especially with the new position as Vice Principal. I have already walked in the shoes for a couple months now and it has been crazy! I am excited to work with a Head of School for the first time. There will definitely be a learning curve and lots of transitions, but all for the best. God has this whole project in his hands. I am so thankful that He chose me to do His work here.

Looking forward to catching up with people over the next 5 weeks.
